Is there a warranty?

• There is a standard 2-year limited warranty with an option to purchase up to 4 years at a cost of $100.00 per year. International pricing will be different, please contact us for details.

What is the unit made of?

• The unit is made of aluminum which is powder coated for added protection.

What does the unit weigh?

• The unit weighs 10 lbs. unloaded without tire deflation units.

What is the size of the unit?

• The unit is approximately 7 1/2 ” wide x 4” tall x 41” long.

What is included in the cost?

• The cost includes everything needed to fully install the unit on your vehicle. You will only need tools to install. Stop Sticks® do not come with the S2D2.

How long does it take to install?

• The unit can be installed in approximately 1/2 hour.

How are the sticks deployed?

• There is a toggle switch inside the vehicle that has a safety cover and is wired with an in-line fuse for surge protection.

How fast does vehicle have to be going to deploy?

• This unit has been tested from 0 to 100 mph.

Where is the unit placed?

• On the Ford Crown Victoria it fits underneath the vehicle between the trunk and rear bumper and between the bumper plungers.
• On the Chevrolet Impala it fits underneath the vehicle between the spare tire and the bumper housing.
• The S2D2 can be fitted for the Chevrolet Impala, Ford Crown Victoria, Ford 500, Dodge Charger, and any SUV including the Hummer with a Reece hitch option. If you have any questions about another type of vehicle, please call us!
• The S2D2 will also fit all international police vehicles also!

Who installs the unit?

• Your department / city garage.
